§ 22-121. Regulation of cable television system rates and charges.

Any person or entity that has acquired or is a holder of a State of Louisiana-issued certificate of franchise authority for cable or video service pursuant to the provisions of the Consumer Choice for Television Act of 2008 is required to pay a franchise fee to the City of New Iberia, and shall pay the City of New Iberia a franchise fee equal to five percent of the cable or video service providers' gross revenues, as that term is defined by the "Consumer Choice for Television Act of 2008", derived from the operations within the municipal limits.
