§ 98-122. Denial of permit or license.

  • The city may deny any applicant's permit or license under this article whenever, in the exercise of its reasonable and sound discretion, and after notice and affording the applicant a hearing thereon, it shall determine that the applicant is not a fit and proper person to have such permit or license. The applicant may appeal within ten days from such denial to the board of trustees for a hearing on the denial for the board of trustees to determine if such denial is justified.
